del Gobierno de M\u00e9xico, de Semarnat, para fortalecer las capacidades del Estado mexicano para proteger, cuidar, conservar, restaurar el medio ambiente y los recursos naturales\u201d, puntualiz\u00f3<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>La Ley General de Protecci\u00f3n Ecol\u00f3gica y Justicia Ambiental crear\u00e1 una nueva relaci\u00f3n entre el desarrollo, el bienestar, la prosperidad y la naturaleza: Semarnat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La Presidenta de M\u00e9xico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, firm\u00f3 la iniciativa de la Ley General de Protecci\u00f3n Ecol\u00f3gica y Justicia Ambiental, que propone actualizar y fortalecer las capacidades del Estado mexicano en materia ambiental, la cual ser\u00e1 enviada a la C\u00e1mara de Diputados.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSe va a enviar por parte del Gobierno de M\u00e9xico, de Semarnat, para fortalecer las capacidades del Estado mexicano para proteger, cuidar, conservar, restaurar el medio ambiente y los recursos naturales\u201d, puntualiz\u00f3 en la conferencia matutina: \u201cLas ma\u00f1aneras del pueblo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>La secretaria de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales, Alicia B\u00e1rcena Ibarra, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que esta nueva Ley es indispensable ya que el planeta enfrenta nuevos desaf\u00edos ambientales, actualiza la ley de 1988 y crear\u00e1 una nueva relaci\u00f3n entre el desarrollo, el bienestar, la prosperidad y la naturaleza.<\/p>\n<p>Detall\u00f3 que esta nueva Ley General de Protecci\u00f3n Ecol\u00f3gica y Justicia Ambiental brinda herramientas novedosas para atender los retos ambientales; da certeza jur\u00eddica a las comunidades e inversiones; integra avances cient\u00edficos, de innovaci\u00f3n y tecnol\u00f3gicos con los saberes ancestrales; adem\u00e1s de que fortalece la prevenci\u00f3n y restauraci\u00f3n con participaci\u00f3n ciudadana.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, garantiza un medio ambiente sano para proteger la salud y el futuro de ni\u00f1as y ni\u00f1os; asegura el acceso a la informaci\u00f3n y a la justicia ambiental; evita da\u00f1os ambientales y protege los derechos de personas y comunidades; responde al cambio clim\u00e1tico, a la p\u00e9rdida de biodiversidad y a la contaminaci\u00f3n que afectan los medios de vida de los pueblos; habr\u00e1 menos basura, m\u00e1s reciclaje; hace la paz con r\u00edos, barrancas y playas; protege especies emblem\u00e1ticas y recupera nuestros ecosistemas.<\/p>\n<p>Destac\u00f3 que esta iniciativa de Ley General se basa en 10 principios:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>El patrimonio natural es el fundamento de la vida, la prosperidad y el bienestar.<\/li>\n<li>No puede haber justicia social sin justicia ambiental.<\/li>\n<li>Prevenir antes que reparar.<\/li>\n<li>Conservar y restaurar para construir futuro.<\/li>\n<li>Conocimiento para sustentar las acciones ambientales.<\/li>\n<li>Gestionar el territorio con la gente y visi\u00f3n de largo plazo.<\/li>\n<li>Propiciar una cultura ambiental.<\/li>\n<li>De una econom\u00eda que desecha a una econom\u00eda que aprovecha.<\/li>\n<li>Cuidar a quienes defienden la naturaleza y los bienes p\u00fablicos.<\/li>\n<li>Proteger nuestro patrimonio biocultural es una responsabilidad
